Henry Amos HOLDEN, son of Amos HOLDEN (c. 1863-1939) and Emma Susan BUXTON (c. 1865- ), was born on 22 October 1896 in South Lopham, Norfolk. Nothing has been found about Henry’s military career except for a South Lopham Absent Voter entry showihng him resdient at Lime Tree Farm and in the 1st Norfolks. He died on 10 January 1973 in South Lopham. He is commorated in the churchyard in South Lopham- “In loving / memory of / HENRY AMOS / HOLDEN / who died 10th Jan 1973 / aged 76 years / RIP.”
